The Ellerman House Spa includes one double treatment room and three single treatment rooms, plus a sensation shower, sauna, and steam room. Expert therapists use healing and beauty techniques from around the globe. The fitness facility features cardio equipment, free weights, medicine balls, mats, a sauna, and shower while the artful soul of Ellerman House is reflected in its meticulous ensemble of South African art. In-house art guides will walk guests through the contemporary art gallery and venture to galleries throughout the city for art-loving guests and connoisseurs.
Another art form, the making of wine, is also highly treasured at Ellerman House in Cape Town. The hotel’s 7500-strong South African wine collection features established and emerging labels from the world-renowned Cape Winelands region. Much of the collection offers special vintages bought at private auction and are only made available on the hotel’s wine list once optimally aged to peak maturity. Guests can join the hotel sommelier for daily vintage tastings.
