Kruger National Park
Private Concessions

The private concessions nestled within Kruger National Park offer a comparable safari experience to the private game reserves along the western boundary of the Greater Kruger. Though typically smaller in size, ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 hectares, these unfenced areas allow for the free movement of wildlife, ensuring an authentic safari adventure.

With a limited number of lodges, the private concessions provide an exclusive experience for guests. Strict traverse rules ensure uncrowded game drives, allowing for intimate wildlife encounters. Activities such as off-road game drives, walking safaris, and night drives, which are not permitted in the public areas of the park, offer unique opportunities for exploration and discovery.

One of the main highlights of the game drives is the ability to venture off-road, enabling trackers to follow animals closely and providing guests with spectacular sightings. Accommodation options range from exclusive retreats such as the Singita and Lion Sands lodges to larger family-friendly lodges catering to guests of all ages, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy amidst the wilderness of Kruger National Park.
