With over 100 years of safari experience, Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sands boasts award-winning facilities and unforgettable wildlife experiences. The game reserve shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park allowing big game to wander freely through the reserve. Sabi Sabi is home to a superior selection of wildlife including the Big Five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. The reserve also features sightings of intriguing cheetah, wild dogs, giraffe, zebra, and antelope. Over 300 bird species and flora indigenous to the area provide fascinating discoveries with every game drive.
The game drives at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge take place at first light and at sunset with both a ranger and tracker, making use of radios to communicate on-point wildlife encounters. Together, using their skills and knowledge they are dedicated to providing the best possible safari and close-up wildlife experiences. In-between the game drives you can take part in a guided bush walk with highly experienced trackers. These walking safaris are a phenomenal chance to experience the wild bushveld with all your senses. In addition to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge the private reserve houses a collection of luxury lodges; Bush Lodge, Little Bush Camp and Selati Camp, all offering a unique safari experience.

Wildlife
- High concentration of Big 5 with large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as large lion prides.
- Other wildlife include but are not limited to the hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, African wild dog, hyaena, warthog and many other cat and antelope species.

Game Drives
- Game drives take place twice a day in the early mornings and afternoons for a duration of 3-4 hours.
- Game drives are led by an experienced guide and tracker team.
- Vehicles are allowed to go off road to track and follow the wildlife.
- Strict traverse rules are in place and vehicle numbers are limited in each reserve. A maximum of two vehicles are allowed at any sighting.

- Sabi Sabi is located in the south of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve and shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National park and Lion Sands game reserve.
- Sabi Sands lies in South Africa’s far north-eastern corner in the Mpumalanga province. The private reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger, sharing unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park.
Getting There
- Sabi Sabi private airstrip is the closet airstrip, two daily chartered flights from Johannesburg are operated by Federal Airlines.
- Skukuza (SZK) is the closet commercial airport to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, daily flights operate from Johannesburg and Cape Town.
- Flight time from Johannesburg to Skukuza or Sabi Sabi private airstrip: 60 minutes
- Flight time from Cape Town to Skukuza: 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Road transfers from Skukuza to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge take 60 minutes and are arranged in open 4×4 safari vehicles.
