Set in a 33 000-acre private concession in the Kruger National Park, guests at Singita Sweni can expect exclusive game viewing opportunities and a serene getaway nestled in pristine wilderness. The lodge is home to six Sweni Suites and one Pool Suite tucked into the banks of the Sweni River. The proximity to the water offers unique wildlife viewing experiences and diverse bird sightings.
Singita Sweni Lodge perfectly marries organic rusticity with contemporary luxury. The lodge’s unique design is sophisticated yet inviting. Natural elements and open plan spaces blend indoor-outdoor living and bright pops of colour are a tasteful reflection of Africa’s vibrant culture.
The main lodge area features a beautiful pool that offers a feeling of being suspended over the vegetation and river. Meals are enjoyed on the outdoor deck perched among trees with gorgeous river views. Cooler evenings are spent indoors cosying up around crackling fires. Guests can also savour delicious traditional meals in the lantern-lit boma under starlit skies.
The area is well known for its concentration of the Big 5 as well as big cat sightings, making for an awe-inspiring African safari. Game drives are led by expert ranger and tracker teams who work together to track extraordinary close-up animal sightings for guests. When you aren’t venturing out on a 4×4 safari drive or exploring the intricacies of the wild on a guided nature walk, you can enjoy wine experiences, rejuvenate at the wellness and fitness centre, or visit some of the remarkable local community projects.
